I took this photo in the new parking-lot of the Damiano Center. The church in the background is Sacred Heart Music Center.
I played with this a bit. This is the whirlpool at the Beacon Point Condo penthouse. It had a whirlpool tube with a view of Lake Superior. You wouldn't have to worry about anyone seeing in. It is on the third floor and anyone on the ships would not be able to see inside.

A working holiday at a Beacon Point penthouse. It was a little bit cool today, but sitting, doing work was and watching the lake and the occasional ships was very relaxing.

Bye, bye trees. Bright and early this morning several very tall evergreens were chopped down. I bet the were 100 years old. Here is what it looked like a couple months ago:

Duluth seems to have quite a few little churches that have been converted into apartments. Our grass still is not green. I think it was in the 50s when I took this photo. There is a chance we will get up to 70 degres tomorrow.

This is the Rose Garden. The black bags are garbage bags full of leaves. Leaves are brought by community members and the bags of leaves are placed around the rose bushes. In the background are two ships. One is crosswise and looks like a little dot to the left of the big red ship. It is waiting for it's turn to go into the harbor. The red ship is heading into the harbor. (I actually took this photo on Monday.)
